While the idea was conceived in 1974, it wasn’t until 1989 that the Law Firm of Richard D. Klein and Associates actually came into existence. Based on his personal experience working with attorneys during the intervening years, and a change in career focus, Richard D Klein, principal firm attorney, wanted to draw on the broad service based management experience he obtained in the health care industry and apply those same personalized service principles in the practice of law.

"We endeavor to provide professional legal services with a highly personal touch, in a timely, thorough manner, remaining accessible to our clients as their needs develop." While the firm was initially (and remains) highly involved in the practice of real estate and business transaction law, within three years of its establishment, clients were requesting that the firm expand to provide family law, divorce and post decree representation. Currently, these areas account for approximately one half of the firm’s services. Given his prior management experience, Mr. Klein wanted to bring not only tactical efficiency to the provision of legal services, but also sensitivity to the issues and people with whom the firm is engaged.

The result is a broad based general legal practice serving both individual and business entities in several areas of law, from dissolution of marriage, real estate purchases and sales, business purchases and sales, wills and trusts and personal injury to traffic matters and more, all with a personal touch.
